Installing the safety is also quite
straight forward.
Before putting the Safety into the trigger
housing, grease the rear part of it where it will
slide against the trigger housing. This of course
provides lubrication and rust resistance. Note the
post on the safety in the photograph above. This
post is put into the hole in left side of the trigger
housing.
Once the rear portion of the Safety has been
lubricated it is a simple matter to slide it into
the rectangular hole at the bottom of the trigger
housing. Note that the little point 1/3 of the way
from the bottom of the safety does not go outside
of the trigger housing.
The final step in assembling the Safety is
simply to snap it into it's final position. In order
to do this depress the clip latch spring slightly
and then move the Safety into position so that the
post on its left side snaps into the hole on the
trigger housing.
Once the safety is secure turn your attention
toward the Hammer.
