As the final step in reassembling the Gas Cylinder on the M1 Garand replace the Gas Cylinder Lock Screw Valve.

To accomplish this simply insert the Gas Cylinder Lock Screw Valve into the Gas Cylinder Lock and then into the Gas Cylinder where it can engage the threads that hold it in place.

Turn the Gas Cylinder Lock Screw Valve clockwise as far as you can with fingers and then cinch it down with a Combo Tool.
